Nanoblading is similar to microblading, however smaller needles are used creating finer more detailed lines and a look that often times is more authentic and natural looking in appearance.  This technique requires more precision than traditional microblading.

Nanoblading involves using an ultra fine blade to make small, hair-like incisions in the skin, which are then filled with pigment to mimic the look of natural eyebrow hairs.

Microshading incorporates the same techniques as nanoblading, however a shading technique similar to that of powder brows is also incorporated.  This involves creating a soft, shaded look by depositing tiny dots of pigment throughout the brow area.

With microshading, the nanoblading technique is used to create natural-looking hair strokes in the front of the eyebrow, while powder brows are used to add shading and depth to the tail of the brow.

Both nanoblading and microshading create a natural-looking, textured brow that lasts longer than traditional microblading.

Nanoblading and microhsading are a popular choices for those who want a fuller, more defined eyebrow shape that looks natural and requires minimal upkeep. These procedures typically takes around two hours to complete, and the results can last for up to three years with proper care and touch-ups.

    1. Cost-Effective: Investing in permanent makeup for your brows can save you money on brow pencils and other eyebrow products over time. Since these procedures create a long-lasting effect, you won’t need to purchase brow pencils or powders regularly to fill in your eyebrows.
    2. Time-Saving: Permanent makeup for your brows can significantly reduce the time you spend on your daily beauty routine. Instead of spending time every morning trying to achieve the perfect brow shape, you wake up with well-defined brows, ready to go.
    3. Restoring Full Brows: If you have over-plucked your eyebrows in the past, permanent makeup brow techniques can help restore the appearance of full brows.
    4. The procedures can fill in sparse areas, giving you a more natural and symmetrical look.
    5. Microblading: This technique involves creating hair-like strokes with a specialized tool, mimicking the look of natural brows. It is ideal for those with thin or over-plucked brows. Please note a microblading alone does not suit every skin type consult with your technician at Brow Queen LA to find out if you are a suitable candidate .
    6. Powder Brows: Powder brows use a soft shading technique to achieve a more defined and filled-in brow appearance. This method is suitable for people with normal to oily skin.
    7. Combo Brows: As the name suggests, this technique combines microblading with powder shading to create a textured yet defined look. It’s suitable for various skin types and provides a versatile brow style.

Keep in mind that permanent makeup for your brows does require some maintenance and touch-ups, but overall, they can be a convenient and effective solution for those seeking to enhance their natural eyebrows.

While permanent makeup is generally safe for most individuals, there are certain conditions and situations where it may not be advisable. Here are some factors that could make someone ineligible for permanent makeup:

  1. Pregnancy and Nursing: Women who are pregnant or nursing should avoid getting permanent makeup done as hormonal changes during these periods might affect the results and healing process.
  2. Skin Conditions: Individuals with active skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, or other infections should wait until their skin has fully healed before considering permanent makeup.
  3. Recent Cosmetic Procedures: Those who have undergone recent cosmetic procedures like chemical peels, laser treatments, or botox injections should wait until the skin has fully healed and settled before getting permanent makeup.
  4. Blood Disorders or Clotting Issues: People with certain blood disorders or clotting issues may not be suitable candidates for semi-permanent makeup due to the risk of excessive bleeding during the procedure.
  5. Allergies to Pigments: Individuals with a history of allergic reactions to tattoo pigments or cosmetic products should avoid permanent makeup to prevent potential adverse reactions.
  6. Use of Blood-Thinning Medication: Clients taking blood-thinning medications may not be eligible for permanent makeup due to the increased risk of bleeding and compromised healing.
  7. Uncontrolled Diabetes: Poorly managed diabetes can affect the healing process, so individuals with uncontrolled diabetes may not be suitable candidates for permanent makeup.
  8. History of Keloids or Hypertrophic Scarring: People who have a tendency to develop keloids or hypertrophic scars may be at a higher risk of developing raised scars after the procedure.

At our clinic , client safety and satisfaction are our top priorities. We conduct thorough consultations to assess each client’s eligibility and discuss any potential risks and alternatives. If you have any concerns about your eligibility for permanent makeup, please consult with our experienced team, and we’ll be happy to provide personalized guidance and recommendations.
