MISCONCEPTIONS

“Microbladed eyebrows look unnatural” It is true that your brows will appear darker than usual in the weeks following the treatment, however, after that initial period, the pigment will fade and resemble your natural brow colour, and it will integrate effortlessly.

“Microblading is painful” Microblading isn’t 100% painless, but it’s not as bad as some people make it out to be. The region to be treated on is first numbed with a lotion, which helps to alleviate any discomfort. Waxing, on the other hand, has been said to be more painful; the initial application can be a little irritating, and your brows may feel burnt for a few days, but it’s all very controllable.

“Microblading is permanent” Because Microblading differs from tattooing in terms of technique, the pigment used will fade over time. If you do not return for additional sessions, the effect will disappear and no markings will be left on your brows.

“Microblading downtime is long” By following the aftercare instructions carefully, your brows will heal in a short and painless period of time. It can be very tempting to pick and peel as it can be a little bit irritating, but not following the aftercare instructions will prolong and complicate the healing period.

“All microbladed eyebrows look the same” There can be certain shapes , trends and styles of eyebrows which clients may request, however microblading is not a ‘one shape fits all’, as technicians are trained to map the eyebrows to naturally enhance what you have by using the measurements of your face.
